Hello Linda,

The TV station transmitting towers are located to your east. The signals are both VHF and UHF frequencies. The antenna best suited to meet the reception conditions is the HD Stacker TV antenna. Along with the antenna I recommend the AP 8700 antenna preamplifier. The AP 8700 will boost the signal and counteract the effects of the 100 foot cable run and the signal splitter.

You shouldn't need a rotor. All available channels will be received by aiming the antenna east.

If have have questions please feel free to reply.

Hi Ed,

There are both VHF and UHF signals available. At only 12 feet above ground installed in the attic I wouldn't go with anything less than the HD Stacker TV antenna. Install the antenna aiming WNW at about 315 degrees on the compass. For best results use the HDA 100 signal amplifier installed in line on the antenna side of the signal splitter. I'm confident the recommend equipment will provide excellent 24/7 reception at your location.

If you have any further questions please ask.

Hi Michael,

All of the reception data indicates the HD Stacker TV antenna is a very good choice for the location. Install the antenna aiming West at about 280 degrees on the compass. Along with the antenna it will be beneficial to use a preamplifier. A very good choice for this application is the AP 8700 preamplifier. This set up will provide ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, MYTV, CW, PBS plus all sub channels offered by these stations. Likely between 15 and 20 channels total.

If you have any questions or if I can assist you further please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards,

Hi Dana,

We are getting a lot of positive feedback from several customer's using the EZ HD TV antenna in and around the Kansas City area. In addition all of the reception data indicates the EZ HD antenna is a good choice. Install the antenna aiming East/Northeast.

Considering the signal strength of the channels at your location and the signal gain of the EZ HD antenna signal amplification should not be needed.

8. Include any additional information you feel may be helpful when evaluating your reception conditions.: a couple of tall trees are on the south and west side of the house.

Hello Jonathan,

There are several local stations however, it appears to receive a FOX network channel you will have to receive it from Kansas City. The antenna best suited to meet the reception conditions to receive the Kansas City stations is the HD Stacker TV antenna. I'm a little concerned the reception may not be satisfactory on the KC stations with the antenna located in the attic. It may have to be mounted outdoors. You can try the attic first but be aware you may have to install the antenna outdoors. Install the antenna aiming East towards KC. I think all of the local channels will come in off of the backside of the antenna. Along with the antenna I suggest the AP 8700 antenna preamplifier

Hi George,

The antenna best suited for the reception conditions is the HD Stacker TV antenna . Install the antenna aiming West/Northwest. This antenna should eliminate the pixelation issue.

Because the cable run is only 55' and no signal splitter is in use a signal amplifier should not be needed.
